Jeff Tse grew up in Hong Kong and New York City and, comes from a family of artists. His Great-Grandfather Xu Zhimo was the leader of the modern poetry movement in China in the 1920’s. As an adult, Jeff picked up a camera and quickly acquired all the skills to become a successful sports photographer publishing shots of celebrity athletes like Lance Armstrong and the Tour de France.
Many photographers are driven by something singular in their imagery. Jeff defines his work as the play of light and form. His creative process parallels sculpture more than two-dimensional art. His goal is to translate subliminal forms into photographs that are timelessly beautiful. Instead of catching passing trends, he strives to develop an aesthetic that is universal across genre and cultural backgrounds.
Jeff's work appears in Harper's Bazaar, Marie Claire, Allure, Teen Vogue, Seventeen, Elle, and Cosmopolitan. His advertising clients include Pantene, Neutrogena, Dior, Cover Girl, and Vichy Cosmetics among others.
Jeff divides his time between California and New York with his wife and three crazy cats.
